Born in Baton Rouge and seasoned by twelve years in the aerospace fast lane, Ben Tapper decided it was time to stop letting life wait for dessert (and beignets). With love for his family, faith, music, and the Cajun zest for hospitality, Ben founded Café LaFaye Coffee Co.—where every project is a New Orleans jam session and every cup, beignet, or smooth sip is spiritual, soulful, and straight from the Big Easy.

The Story: Southern Roots, Texas Soul

What began as a reverent tribute to Louisiana legend (think: Grandma’s wood spoon, Crescent City jazz, and Saturday’s sacred tradition of coffee & fellowship) has quickly built a reputation across Allen, Melissa, McKinney, and Anna for big flavor, real conversation, and beautifully old-fashioned Southern fun.
